Does Redmi 5A support fast charging?

Does xiaomi redmi 5A support fast charging? the answer is no, xiaomi redmi 5A does not support fast charging, out of the box the redmi 5A comes with 1000mA (1A) power charger which doesn't support fast charging.

You maybe be thinking to use 2A power charger on the redmi 5A, but it doesn't work, fast charging still doesn't work even with higher power adaptor.

Xiaomi redmi 5A uses snapdragon 425, which in theory support qualcomm's quick charge feature (quick charge 2.0). But in reality it doesn't, redmi 5A does not support quick charge feature. The quick charge feature is somehow disabled in redmi 5A.
